The Utah swimming and diving team upped their record to 12-2 Friday night in Honolulu with a 149-92 win over last year's WAC runner-up Hawaii.

The Utes won 9 of 13 events on the way to the win. Anders Bladh defeated Corey Carroll, last year's conference champion in both the 50 and 100 freestyles in those events, reclaiming his title of fastest swimmer in the WAC. Bladh also anchored Utah's winning 400 freestyle relay in a season best time.Other winners for the Utes included Joel Bussard in the 1000 freestyle, Arne Miles in the 200 IM and 400 medley relay, Marc Fraser-Bell in the 200 backstroke, Bret Peterson on the three meter board and Per-Ola Lundbladh in the 200 breaststroke.
