A Flying Tigers cargo plane slammed into the hilly jungle outside the capital Sunday and burst into flames, killing all four people on board, authorities said. The dead were identified as U.S. citizens.

The Boeing 747 operated by the Los Angeles-based air freight company was to land at Subang International Airport outside Kuala Lumpur when it disappeared from radar, Civil Aviation Department officials said.Four crew members were the only people on board, and all were killed, said Nordin Saad, air traffic control director for the Civil Aviation Department.

He said the bodies were recovered but the identities were being withheld pending notification of relatives.
