Bill D. Brown, a prominent Salt Lake automobile dealer, died Feb. 13, 1989, at his home.
Brown started his long auto-sales career in 1946 when he opened a used-car dealership. He was one of the leading used-car dealers in the Salt Lake area during the 1950s. Later, he handled new cars, purchasing Capitol Motors in downtown Salt Lake City, and expanded into other auto-related businesses.Graveside services are scheduled Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. in Murray City Cemetery.
