Deer Valley Resort Co. has announced title changes in top management following the resignation of company president Jim Nassikas.

Although Nassikas will step down from day-to-day operations, he will stay in contact with the resort organization, a spokesman said. His resignation followed closing the sale of the Standford Court Hotel in San Francisco, of which he was also president. Nassikas and Deer Valley chairman and financier Edgar B. Stern Jr. worked together on the transaction.With the departure of Nassikas, Stern will take on the position of president; vice president Lessing Stern has been named executive vice president; general manager Bob Wheaton will also be vice president of operations; and Bob Wells changes his title of director of real estate to vice president of real estate.

An executive committee of general partners Edgar B. Stern Jr. and Roger Penske has also been formed to determine overall direction of the company.
