In celebration of Valentine's Day, the Mountain West Ronald McDonald House received a special gift of love - a check for $1,575.

The donation, appropriately, came from the children's pain reliever, Tempra, a product of Mead Johnson nutritionals. It's part of Mead Johnson's 1988 donation of $250,000 to the national program. This brings the company's donation over a three-year period to $2 million. The Ronald McDonald House, which opened its doors three months ago, provides a home away from home for the families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. Although the house is complete, it still needs community donations to meet ongoing expenses.

Donations can be sent to 935 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84102-1411, or call 363-HOME.
