The Western Opera Theater will travel the state during the week of Feb. 16-25, presenting Puccini's "Madame Butterfly" in six Utah communities. With a cast of young artists from the San Francisco Opera Center, the company's production is directed by Albert Takazauckas, with design by Jay Kotcher. Performances will be sung in English, with two-piano accompaniment.

Harmon Junior High, Price, 7 p.m., $5, $4 children; Feb. 23, Egyptian Theater, Park City, 8 p.m., $15-$20 (fundraiser); Feb. 24, Kingsbury Hall, Salt Lake City, 8 p.m., $8-$10 general, $7-$5 U. of U. students; Feb. 25, Kent Concert Hall, Logan, 8 p.m., $10, $5 students, $1.50 USU students.
