Quick work by Salt Lake police led to the arrest of two men in the weekend abduction and rape of a 19-year-old woman.

The victim was abducted at gunpoint from a convenience store on Fifth East and Third South, taken to the high Avenues and raped by two men, said Lt. Dave Harkness. The woman was then dropped off at the convenience store.Officers arrested two men as they were entering I-15 on the Fifth South off-ramp, Harkness said. The two, ages 25 and 29, were arrested in West Valley City. Two .25-caliber semiautomatic handguns were seized.

The victim was treated and released from Holy Cross Hospital following the incident, which occurred Sunday at 9 p.m.
