The rape of a Salt Lake woman Wednesday may be linked to one reported Sunday.

According to a Salt Lake police report the 21-year-old woman was walking along 13th South near State Street about 2:30 p.m. when she got in a car with two men who offered her a ride. The two men then raped her and pushed her out of the car at 13th South and Third West.

The two men, the vehicle and rape method match the description of a Sunday rape involving another 21-year-old woman. In both cases one of the men is described as having dark hair and being between 25 and 30 years old.

In the Wednesday rape the other man was described as blond with a mustache. In both cases a large late-model white car was used. It was identified as a Pontiac Catalina by the victim of the Wednesday rape.
