A pregnant woman and her unborn baby were the latest innocent victims of the drug wars raging among inner-city gangs - gunned down at a housing project by men firing a shotgun and an assault rifle, police said Sunday.

Two men were wounded in the attack that police said was probably linked to a turf war over control of the drug business at the sprawling Aliso Village public housing project, between downtown and East Los Angeles. Two men were also killed during the weekend in what police said were apparently gang-related attacks.
