Public workshops on proposed highway improvements on U.S. 91 from Brigham City to Wellsville will likely be delayed until late March.

The Utah Department of Transportation said in a release that public testimony heard at meetings in Logan and Mantua last fall ha resulted in a delay of a draft environmental impact statement. Ideas and concerns expressed by residents have resulted in additional alternatives and proposal revisions. The planned workshops will be the last opportunity for input on the draft impact statement before the statement is published and formal hearings are held. They will be held in Mantua and Logan.
