Those who give care to frail elderly relatives or friends can receive help by attending free seminars sponsored by the Salt Lake County Aging Services and Wasatch Canyon Hospitals.

David Turner and Jean Weinberger of the county's Quality Aging Program conduct the classes from 3-5 p.m. each Wednesday through March 15.Topics include ageism, the aging and their effect on the family care-giver; health relationships; telling the difference between healthy and unhealthy aging; tapping into community resources; what's available and what's necessary in a good continuum of care; legal and financial resources; and good grief and self-care.
