An evening of food, entertainment and dance from different cultures will be featured Feb. 11 at the annual banquet of the Weber State College Club International.
"100 Years of Internationalism" is the theme for the 7 p.m. event in the Gallery of the Shepherd Union Building.The buffet-style dinner will include salads from the Middle East, a meat dish from Thailand, leite asada from Chile, baklava, egg drop soup from Japan and other foods.
International students will also provide entertainment with Latin American dancing, guitar music, dances from Thailand and the Pacific Islands and a karate demonstration.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-10 and $7 for WSC students with identification. Children under 5 will be admitted free. The 200 tickets available will be sold on a first come, first served basis. To purchase tickets call 626-6028 or 626-6853.
