Jim Sweeney, the coordinator of Yellowstone National Park's North District resources, will lecture next week about the fires that swept through the park in 1988.

Sweeney was chief of planning during the fires. He was involved in all facets of fire management and is an expert on the biological implications of the fire season.His talk, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the Highland High School Little Theater, 2166 S. 17th East, is free to the public. It is sponsored by the Utah Wilderness Association.
