Dirk Anjewierden IV, administrator of Alta Care Center, a 99-bed skilled and intermediate care facility in Salt Lake City, has been elected president of the executive board of the Utah Health Care Association.

Anjewierden was chosen to lead the organization of 81 long-term care facility administrators in a special election by the organization's executive board. He was formerly vice president of the association.Also elected were Mike Godfrey, owner and administrator of Godfrey's Foothill Retreat, Brigham City, vice president; and Allen Day, owner of Crestwood Care Center, Ogden, and Highland Care Center, treasurer.
