Emergency rescue personnel attend to a West Valley man Thursday after he fell 35 feet from a cliff in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Salt Lake County Deputy Sheriff Mark Chidester said Nathaniel Begay, 26, was climbing the cliffs near Storm Mountain when he slipped and fell about 4:45 p.m. "He was climbing a small cliff about 60-feet high and got up about 35 feet and fell," Chidester said. Begay _ who suffered deep lacerations, a broken left wrist and a broken leg _ was taken by helicopter to University Hospital where he was in fair condition Friday.
