The University of Utah men's swimming and diving team trounced WAC foe Wyoming 187-82 Saturday in the Ute Natatorium.

The Utes won 13 of the 14 events, losing only the 800 freestyle relay. An exhibition team from Utah turned in the fastest time in the 800, but it didn't count in the final standings.Freshman Sal Castro cruised to victories in the 100 freestyle and the 100 butterfly, while Richard Johansson won the 200 freestyle and had the fastest 500 freestyle time swimming as an exhibition.

The Utes' Todd Etherington won in the 100 backstroke and the 200 breastroke.

Utah's Kort Borg captured the 3-meter diving event, while teammated Bret Peterson took home the 1-meter honors.

Senior Anders Bladh, who defeated Nebraska's Peter Williams in the 50 freestyle Friday, came back to win the 50 Saturday with a 20.97.
