Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinian youths and wounded at least 20 other people, including a Red Cross official, during violent clashes Saturday at a refugee camp in the occupied Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said.

The clashes erupted Saturday morning when stone-throwing youths confronted solders near the Hatem Attai School in the U.N.-run Khan Younis refugee camp, Palestinian sources said. Soldiers killed one youth and wounded seven others in the initial incident, the sources said.The killing of Ala' Arandes, 15, touched off a series of violent confrontations between youths and soldiers at the refugee camp and in nearby Khan Younis city, located in the southern section of the 28-mile-long Gaza Strip, the sources said.

Majed Jad Al Haq, 17, was wounded in the kidney during the clashes in Khan Younis city and died while undergoing surgery.
