Former workers of Basin Well Service, Roosevelt, and Burris Drilling Co. in eastern Utah, have been certified as eligible for Federal Trade Act benefits, according to Floyd G. Astin, Utah Department of Employment Security administrator.

The benefits, which include payment of retroactive trade act unemployment insurance, future payment of approved training and job search and relocation allowances are available to workers laid off by Basin Well Service on or after Oct. 1, 1985, and before Jan. 5, 1991, and from Burris Drilling on or after Oct. 1, 1985, and before Jan. 13, 1991.Astin advises the 35 people involved to contact their local Job Service office to apply for the benefits.
