An army ammunition bunker exploded amid a mountain brush fire in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, killing at least six people, injuring 20 and flattening the military camp, the state-run radio network reported Wednesday. The National Broadcasting Service said 14 soldiers and firemen were missing after the Tuesday afternoon blast at Camp Omega, an army training site seven miles northwest of Port-of-Spain. Two soldiers in a jeep and four firemen on a fire truck were killed when the explosion hurled their vehicles 650 feet, the radio station reported. At least 20 firemen and soldiers wounded in the blast were in critical condition in area hospitals.
