President Bush will visit South Korea on Feb. 27 instead of Feb. 26 as was earlier scheduled, Foreign Minister Choi Ho-joong said Friday.

Bush will meet with South Korean President Roh Tae-woo. The minister did not give any reason for the change but local press reports said Bush changed the day because the original visit was set for a Sunday.Bush is stopping over on his way home from China, which he is scheduled to visit after attending Japanese Emperor Hirohito's funeral on Feb. 24 in Tokyo.
