Pete Maravich dribbled a basketball through the pharmacy door as he reported to work for his first summer job while attending Louisiana State University.

During his career, he dribbled his way to NCAA records which still stand. The LSU Assembly Center became known as Pete's Palace.

On Friday, the Louisiana House of Representatives eulogized Maravich, who died of heart trouble on Jan. 5 at the age of 41, and voted unanimously to rename the domed facility as the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The resolution was sent to the Senate, which is expected to throw its own accolades at the late three-time All American.
