Some people will do practically anything to raise money even kiss a pig. And one has to be popular in the eyes of the community to even do that!
It's all part of a project by the Bryce Valley PTA. The "Kiss-a-Pig" project is a fund-raiser to support association programs.
Here's how it works:
Students have placed small money banks at several businesses, labeled with the names of teachers. A donation is a vote for a teacher of the donor's choice to see him or her kiss a live pig.
The winner (or should it be the loser?) will perform the kissing antics May 2.
Banks have been placed at Ruby's Inn near Bryce Canyon National Park, Bryce Valley Supply in Cannonville, the Country Mall and Doug's Place in Tropic, and in the school office.
