Quaker State Minit-Lube and Evans Advertising of Salt Lake City have won two Mobius Awards, symbolic of excellence in international advertising from a field of 3,000 international radio and television entries.

One award was for Minut-Lube's overall radio advertising campaign in 1988, and the other was for a 60-second spot announcement titled "Wrong Bus." It told of a businessman who gets lost trying to take the bus back to the office after dropping off his vehicle for an oil change rather than taking it to Minit-Lube for while-you-wait service.Quaker State Minit-Lube executive vice president and director of marketing Paul Remund and Evans senior vice president and group supervisor Robert Toussaint accepted the awards during a ceremony in Chicago.

The "Wrong Bus" spot also was selected from more than 1,500 radio entries as one of seven finalists for "Best of the Festival" honors in the Mobius radio division.
