A North Ogden man who sued three bars after he was hit by a car driven by a drunken bar patron has filed another lawsuit, this time to collect the judgment against one of the bars, whose owners filed for bankruptcy.

In his suit, filed in 2nd District Court, Sidney Reeves asks that Lew and Peggy Lutz be personally responsible for paying a $75,000 judgment against Peg's Lew Monico in Roy.The bar declared bankruptcy two weeks after a jury found Peg's had violated the state's dram shop law by serving alcohol to an obviously intoxicated Bret Trease of North Ogden before his car struck Reeves and Marcella Montgomery on Sept. 22, 1987, as they jogged.

Montgomery, 17, was killed and Reeves suffered two fractured legs.
