A Provo man charged with aggravated robbery was bound over Tuesday for arraignment Friday in 4th District Court.
Glenn King Mahew, 27, 1705 West 14th North, appeared before 4th Circuit Judge Lynn Davis on the first-degree-felony charge. He was remanded to the Utah County Jail.Mahew was arrested Jan. 20 in connection with a robbery that same day at First Interstate Bank, 66 E. 1650 North.
According to Provo police reports, a man entered the bank at about 1:30 p.m. wearing a monkey mask and wielding a knife. He demanded money and left with $4,990 from three cash drawers. He was apprehended after a chase through several blocks.
Mahew's bail remains at $50,000.
