Ronald C. Hinkley pleaded not guilty Monday to child sex allegations in connection with photographs of partially nude children prosecutors claim the suspect submitted to a university art class.

Hinkley pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and single counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and sodomy on a child.

First District Judge VeNoy Christoffersen scheduled an April 11 hearing on whether to reduce Hinkley's $105,000 bail. No trial date was set.

Hinkley, 38, was arrested last November after Utah State University art department officials gave police officers questionable photographs of nude and partially nude girls.

The pictures, according to investigators, were submitted by Hinkley as part of a USU photography class project.
