Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Elmer Evans Kelly, 90, a retired Salt Lake businessman and longtime Kiwanis Club member, who died Jan. 28, 1989.
Kelly, in 65 years of service for the Kelly Co., served as general manager and chairman of the board. He was a member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and belonged to the Kiwanis Club for more than 50 years, earning the life member distinction.He was also active in the Masonic Order, a shriner in the El Kalah Temple and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Kelly graduated from West High School, where he was elected senior class president. He volunteered for duty in World War I, serving in England and France with the 104th Aero Squadron
Funeral will be at noon Wednesday at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
