The Association for Mormon Letters has slated its annual symposium for Weber State College on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:35 p.m.

Registration is at 9 a.m., with sessions beginning at 9:45 in the special collections area of the Stewart Library.There will be scholarly papers on the writings of Virginia Sorensen, Maurine Whipple, Ardyth Kennelly, Juanita Brooks and John D. Fitzgerald.

A panel comprised of Linda Sillitoe, Gordon Allred and Dean Hughes will discuss publishing for the marketplace and there will be awards for the outstanding examples of LDS literature published during the year.

Award winners will read at an evening social beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the home of Candadai and Neila Seshachari. The public is invited free to the reading.
