BYU high jumper Christine Wilson set a school record indoor leap of 6 feet, 2 inches at the Missouri track and field invitational Saturday afternoon, erasing the nine-year mark of 6-1 established by Maria Betioli in 1980 on the same field.

Wilson, a senior from Columbus, Ind., who doubles as a diver on the Cougar swim team, also set a Hearnes Field House record and qualified for the NCAA championships in winning the event.Two other Cougar distance runners picked up first places in the large meet. All-American Noeleen Mullan captured the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:51.71.
