A Salt Lake woman and her two daughters were injured Saturday night when their car was hit broadside by another vehicle at 35th South near the I-15 on-ramp.
Verna Austin, 38, 1103 University Ave., and her daughters, Meagon, 17, and Jennifer, 6, were traveling east on 35th South when their compact car was struck by a car turning left to enter I-15, said West Valley City Sgt. Steve Coxey.Coxey said no one in the second car was injured.
Officers stopped traffic while Air Med flew to the accident scene. Jennifer was taken by helicopter to Primary Children's Medical Center, where she was in serious but stable condition Saturday.
Verna and Meagon Austin are listed in good condition at Pioneer Valley Hospital.
The accident occurred at 6:30 p.m.
The Austins were not wearing seatbelts.
