The six-mile road from U.S. Highway 40 to Strawberry Bay Marina facilities has been cleared of snow and is now open for public access. The Uinta National Forest and the Utah Department of Transportation opened the road Jan. 1.

It is the first time that Strawberry Bay Marina has been open for snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross-country skiing. Parking, restrooms, limited food services and snowmobile rentals are available.A $3 access fee will be charged.
