Police are seeking a bandit who took a kitchen sink from a home.

The thief must have used tools to remove oak cabinets, the sink and a built-in desk from the home on the 300 block of Ramona Avenue (1935 South), according to a Salt Lake police report.A woman who rents the home returned to the residence about 8 a.m. and found the back door kicked open and the lock on the floor, the report said. A television set, microwave, necklace and some earrings also were taken in the burglary, which occurred Jan. 15.
