The University of Utah women's basketball team watched two United States International University three point field goal attempts spin in and out of the hoop in the game's final seconds, to take a 67-64 win at the Huntsman Center Friday. Utah (11-4) got 21 points and 10 rebounds from Cindy Lindsay, who scored 17 points in the first half. Gina Butters added 17 points and eight assists. Kristi Smtih came off the bench to score 12 points, to go with seven rebounds and three steals. USIU got 17 points from Yvonne Sanchez. The Utes, who scored 47 percent from the field, hit just 17-of-30 free throw attempts.
Utah hosts Southern Utah State today at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Free tickets are available at all area Rainbo Oil stations.
