Louise Ritter, the Olympic gold medalist in the women's high jump, won her event with a jump of 6 feet, 4 inches.Former Olympic and American marathon champion Frank Shorter finished second in the men's masters 1500 meters (40 years and over) at 4:23.02. Shorter, 42, was well behind Canadian Dave Stewart, 40, who set a Canadian record of 4:05.48.
