A Salt Lake County man was injured Wednesday in a rollover on westbound 21st South near 18th West.

Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Rufener said the car driven by Chris Webster, 23, Midvale, bounced off the right guard rail, then veered across the road into the median, where it flipped end over end and landed upside down.Webster was trapped inside the car for about 20 minutes while emergency personnel used wrecking bars and hydraulic jaws to pry the door open. A witness told officers the driver was halfway out of the car through the sun roof just before the car flipped.

He was listed in serious condition Thursday in LDS Hospital.
