The Super Bowl fight between the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers struck the Utah Legislature on Friday. It wasn't pretty. While some, like Sen. Richard Carling, R-Salt Lake, left, played it straight, others, including Senate President Arnold Christensen, right, and House Speaker Nolan Karras sported silly shirts and hats. Christensen actually called Senate Minority Leader Rex Black "The Fridge." Female House members took the opportunity to warn that more wives are abused by their husbands on Super Bowl day than any other day of the year.
