John Clark Gable, son of matinee idol Clark Gable, has signed a three-movie contract with Wouk-Ware Productions. "Bad Jim," a Western, is to be the first film under the contract for the 27-year-old Gable, who was born to Kay Gable several months after his father's death in November 1960. Gable has been a professional off-road racer and resisted an acting career until recently. "I've finally come to accept who I am and who my father was," Gable said recently. "The only disadvantage of being his son is that I've only heard of who my father was and never had the chance to know him."
