Salt Lake County sheriff's detectives were to meet with prosecutors Wednesday to discuss the case against two men being held in connection with the Friday night video store robbery in which a West Valley City woman was killed.

Detectives Tuesday arrested Ray D. Young, 34, 5567 Northwest Ave., who was booked into jail for investigation of obstructing justice in the robbery of a the Voyager Video, Kearns, and the murder of Anna Lee Holmes, 31.Young, who is being questioned concerning a getaway car believed used in the robbery, was taken into custody at his home Tuesday morning and questioned by detectives, who later booked him into jail.

Homicide Squad Sgt. Garth Beckstead said Young is being held for failing to give authorities information regarding the killing of Holmes, who was shot in the head during the robbery of the video store, less than a mile from Young's home. Holmes was pregnant, and her baby was taken by Caesarean section two minutes before she died.

The infant remained hospitalized in serious condition Wednesday.

Young is also being investigated for possible conspiracy in the homicide, Beckstead said. Investigators discounted speculation that Young called in the tip that led to the arrest of Charles Kenneth Hodges.

That tip, which was called in to Utah Crime Solvers, came from an associate of a woman who knew Hodges, Beckstead said.

Hodges, 44, was jailed Monday for investigation of the murder, the robbery and two other restaurant robberies in the vicinity, detectives said.
