A 26-year-old St. George woman has died of hypothermia after spending more than an hour in a convenience store cooler.

Lori House, an employee of Texaco Food Mart in St. George, was found unconscious Monday in the store's large walk-in cooler. House was believed to have suffered an epileptic seizure while in the freezer, but that could not be confirmed.Police said the temperature in the cooler was about 10 degrees Fahrenheit. A milk vendor discovered her.

House was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center, where hospital workers tried to bring her body temperature up to normal.

But the mother of one did not survive and was pronounced dead at 1:10 p.m.
