The Detroit Pistons have signed Pace Mannion to a 10-day NBA contract, replacing guard Joe Dumars, who broke the middle finger of his left hand Wednesday night against the New York Knicks.

Mannion, a former Jazz player out of Utah, spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks. This season, he had played 26 games for Rockford, Ill., of the CBA, where he was averaging 19 points and 5.1 rebounds when the Pistons signed him.
