"Impressions," the annual exhibit for Davis County high school students, will open Jan. 15, with a reception at the Bountiful-Davis Art Center 2 to 5 p.m. The exhibit runs through Jan. 27.

The exhibit announcement design contest, judged this year by commercial artist David Mann, was won by Jared Sanders of Davis High. Runners up are Sharlene Siddoway, Woods Cross High; Paul Tew, Bountiful High; and Bonnie Wellisch, Woods Cross High. Sanders' design will be printed on more than 2,000 announcements. He will receive $60 in gifts.In conjunction with the high school exhibit, the center will offer a portfolio workshop Jan. 9-12. Cost for the workshop is $20 for four sessions or $7 per session.
