Police investigating an armed robbery at a Crest gas station in Orem Monday believe they may be looking for the same man who held up a Provo Texaco station last week, an Orem Police spokesman said.

A man in his mid-20s entered the Crest station at 560 N. State around 6:05 p.m. Monday, pulled a 6-inch blade knife on a female employee and demanded money from the cash register. He left on foot with about $200, spokesman Gerald Nielsen said.Orem Police followed the suspect's tracks, which went south to an empty parking space in a parking lot at 390 S. State.

The man is described as about 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with brown hair and sideburns.

The Texaco station, at 1340 N. Second West, was robbed Jan. 6 by a man also wielding a knife with a 6-inch blade. The robber was also described as being in his mid-20s.

The same station was robbed a week earlier (Dec. 30), but the manager of the station said the two robberies were done by different men.
