New officers will be elected during the Alpine School Board's monthly business meeting Tuesday.

A new president will likely replace Jan Lewis, who has served in the position for the past two years. The five-member board will also elect a new vice president. Board member Richard Gappmayer has filled that position for one year.The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in board headquarters at 39 N. Center Street, American Fork. The agenda will also include an opportunity for citizens to sign up to address board members about any topic of concern.

Other action will include a vote on the seventh-grade Quest Program, the secondary ACE Curriculum (foreign language) and a policy on the Scope of Employment for district personnel.
