Steiner Corp., the Salt Lake-based company providing linen services worldwide, has acquired six linen supply companies in several states, according to Richard R. Steiner, president. They will operate under the name American Linen Supply.
He said the acquisitions are Snow White Linen, Anchorage, Alaska; American Linen Supply, Yuma, Ariz.; American Linen Supply, El Centro, Calif.; Quality Linen Supply, Banning, Calif.; Specialty Textile Services, Milwaukee; and Sanitary Linen Supply, Greeley, Colo."We're very pleased to have six excellent linen supply companies join our team," Steiner said, and noted that it is the corporation's first presence in Alaska. The company has plants in 15 states and 12 foreign countries.
The American Linen operations distribute a wide range of industrial, commercial and institutional items including uniforms, textiles, towels, aprons, bed and table linens, dust control products.
This year, American Linen is celebrating its 100th anniversary in business.
