LDS Business College and the American Management Association have developed a multicourse curriculum designed to meet the needs of working professionals who want to learn state-of-the-art business skills, according to Nicholas M. Zullo, program manager.
He said the course should help people become more effective in their present positions and be better prepared for future advancement. Participants will meet with other managers to learn how others are handling business-related problems.Zullo said the instructors have extensive business experience along with excellent teaching skills.
To earn a certificate in management, each student is required to take six courses, which may be taken in any order, and there is no time limit for program completion. Each course meets once a week for five weeks, and one or more courses may be taken each term.
Since all of the courses are complete and require no prerequisite courses, students may begin working toward the certificate at any time even though they may have missed previous terms.
