A recording of "Musicians for Armenia," a recent concert to benefit victims of the Armenian earthquake disaster, will be released internationally this month on RCA Victor Red Seal.

The big-name event took place Dec. 17 in London's Barbican Hall and featured pianists Barry Douglas and Andrei Gavrilov, flutist James Galway, violinist Cho-Liang Lin, cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, soprano Galina Vishnevskaya, conductor Andre Previn and the English Chamber Orchestra.A videotape of the concert will be televised internationally at a time still to be determined.

"Musicians and musical organizations from East and West came together in a unique joint venture," said Michael Emmerson, president of RCA's parent company, BMG Classics, which will release the recording.
