Police arrested more than 100 anti-abortion protesters Saturday who sang Christmas carols while blocking doorways and jamming elevators at an abortion clinic, officials said.

Police dragged and carried away the protesters, who filled hallways of a busy office building and prevented 15 women from entering the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts clinic, officials said.Four of the protesters fastened heavy-duty bicycle locks around their necks, interweaving the locks and throwing away the keys.

"It just makes it take longer (to clear the entrance)," explained protester Darroline Firlit. "It takes them a long time to try a hacksaw and figure out that it won't work and then get the Fire Department and send for a locksmith."
