Two people remained in serious condition Tuesday after a four-car accident that left a Murray woman dead.
Killed was Betty L. Michael, 22, 391 Wallin, Murray.She and the driver of another car were in a left-turn lane on Seventh West waiting to turn east onto 6181 South shortly before 9 a.m. A pickup truck coming the opposite direction sideswiped a car, then hit Michael's Ford Mustang head on, according to Murray Police.
The force of the impact pushed the Mustang backward into a Pontiac Bonneville driven by Debbie Dansie, 30. The truck then pushed the Mustang out of the way and broad-sided the Bonneville.
All three occupants of the Bonneville Dansie, her 8-year-old son, Jeremy, and John Marrapodi, 7 all of Murray, were treated at Cottonwood Hospital and released.
Peter Fondaco, 9, also of 391 Wal-lin, was a passenger in the Mustang and was listed in serious but stable condition at Cottonwood Tuesday.
The driver of the pickup truck, Ralph C. Holder, 60, 6893 Rye Circle, West Jordan, was listed in stable but serious condition at Cottonwood's intensive care unit.
