Two people were killed in separate automobile accidents in northern Utah this weekend, officials said.

KILLED:John B. Davis, 53, Willard, Box Elder County

Davis was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his wife, Nola Davis, 53, westbound on U-134 in Weber County when Davis drove through a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven Thane Koford, 65, Roy, southbound on U-126, a Utah Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.

Davis was pronounced dead at McKay-Dee Hospital. His wife was in fair condition Monday in the same hospital. A son, Mark, 16, was also in fair condition and another son, Robert, 14, was critical.

Dabb, a Union Pacific Railroad workman, was performing emergency repair work at a railroad crossing on U.S. 89-91 at Fourth South in Logan about 9:45 p.m. Sunday when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Marquetta Barker, age unavailable, of Logan, Logan police said.

Dabb was pronounced dead at Logan Regional Hospital. The accident was still under investigation Sunday night, the spokeswoman said.
