Utahns generally favor President Reagan's action in sending 3,200 U.S. troops into Honduras on military exercises, a new poll shows.

Dan Jones & Associates asked 604 Utahns Thursday if they approved or disapproved of Reagan's actions. Fifty percent strongly or somewhat agreed with what Reagan did, 38 percent strongly or somewhat disagreed and 13 percent didn't know. Not surprisingly, 61 percent of the Republicans polled agreed with the president's actions while 71 percent of the Democrats disagreed, Jones found.
